Bereavement Center for Child Death

When A Child Dies....

Are you a parent, partner, grandparent, sibling or close caretaker grieving the death of a child at any age, under any circumstances, however recent or long ago?

The death of a child at any age is traumatic and understandably overwhelming and difficult to survive, whether that child dies of medical complications, illness, accident, overdose, suicide or as a victim of crime.

Our culture tries to postpone, hide and deny
grief, and we certainly are not prepared to support families through the deaths of children. Instead we are encouraged to numb our pain and just keep functioning.

Yet, the death of a
child is a shattering experience, often evoking feelings of despair, longing, anger, confusion, shame, numbness, guilt, loss of identity and meaning, helplessness and hopelessness.

Our mission is to provide personal, compassionate guidance and support through this loss. We offer a safe space so you can turn towards your grief and heal while honoring your child with both love and sorrow.

Our caring staff is available when you need us:
